Taking the time
Try and manage your time as much as you can…
Prioritise your time
If the list is endless and you can’t see the wood for the trees, create and share a list of expectations and priorities.
Plot some personal time - have your lunch break
Taking the time to eat lunch can give you enormous benefits to your physical and mental health.
Tap into technology - if this helps manage connections but remember to switch off
If it helps organise you then technology can be a great thing. Set reminders and little goals.
Make exercise a must-do, not a should-do
Get some fresh air, take a walk, meet colleagues, have fun.
Manage your mind
Spend time with someone who will lift you up and support you.
Take a break
Remember to take time out throughout your day.
Be flexible with schedules for you and your team
Having a flexible schedule helps you manage your time better and prioritise the most important jobs.
When you work after-hours, it can lead to a lot of stress and burnout, not to mention overall poor health. It is the same for both employers and employees. So, you need to clock out.
Don’t forget about healthy snacks
Keep energised with healthy snacks if you can, it can really help stop with binging on fast food and can be fun. Share tips with friends.
Download a poster and stick it around the office.
We’d love you to take part and tell us what the most important things are to you.
We’ve made a list from the information we’ve collected so far and would now like YOU to vote for the top six things that are the most important to Work Health.
We will then create posters promoting the recommended Flourish Work Health Tips to share all over the trust.
